Learn To Sing With Vocal Release

Attacking the voice from the mask eliminates registers and breaks. They simply do not exist when you sing with the attack of the mask. All notes sung are full, round and pleasantly forward.

When you watch a great singer and their voice seem to have no ceiling, it comes out effortlessly and the voice seem to resonate forward behind the nose eyes and upper pallet, that is the attack of the mask. Some singers do it naturally by instinct.

This is why some people are naturally good singers and some people struggle to sing even half as well. Without singing using the attack of the mask the voice is a struggle to use, breaks up into registers and simply doesn’t sound very good. With the attack of the mask even powerful singing is as easy as humming with the mouth open.

This is also why some people think you can’t learn to sing. Unfortunately most vocal coaches and no other online courses besides Vocal Release, teaches how to learn to use the attack of the mask specifically. Yes, it can be taught. But, you have to learn specific parts of your body to manipulate and exercises to instill proper voice production.

Guitar Scales – Guitar Scale Mastery

Why is this? There are dozens and dozens of scale books out there. There are also MANY websites that have information on scales. Why are there so few guitar players who have actually mastered scales?

Very few scale learning methods focus on all five of the essential mastery skills that lead to complete scale mastery…

Most scale learning "methods" will give you a whole bunch of scale fingerings. Then they show you some licks. Maybe they even give you a few backing tracks. Then they leave you to it! This does not work for most people. It only works for the most talented guitar players out there. Most of us need some extra help!

This approach to learning scales is awesome. It combines some of the benefits of single string scales with some of the benefits of the more conventional scale patterns. Any scale learning method that doesn’t cover this approach is robbing you of some valuable learning and progress!

This is an approach used by many guitarists. It is one of the best approaches for anyone interested in speed and fluidity. It allows you to learn almost any scale over the entire fretboard. It’s also an approach that can be used for all styles of music. I’ve personally used it for styles ranging from speed metal to traditional jazz.

Many guitarists sound like they are just running up-and-down scales when they improvise. Their solos can sound boring, rigid and unmusical. They just don’t make music when they solo.

It is the master key that unlocks musicality. Seriously. When you do Ear Training everything about your improvising improves. Why is that? Music is sound. Music is a hearing art! Doesn’t it make sense that as your ability to hear improves, everything improves with it?

Over the years, I’ve studied many different approaches to Ear Training. Some worked…some were frustrating and boring…

Read Ledger Line Notes, How to Read Ledger Lines, Reading Ledger Line Notes

Many music and piano students find it hard enough to learn the notes of the bass and treble staves (or staffs). But suddenly they find themselves face to face with a whole new problem. To go beyond the elementary or beginner’s level and start playing really nice piano pieces at more challenging level, students must be able to read "Ledger Line Notes". Ledger line notes are those notes found above and below the treble and bass staves. Here are some examples of ledger line notes on the treble staff and the bass staff:

Like all music and piano students, you will naturally feel relieved when you have finally learnt the 21 music notes on the bass and treble staves, and you will be keen to begin playing music and entertaining your family and friends.
