The guitar can be difficult to master. Believe me, I know what it’s like when you can’t play your guitar chords and your fingers are killing you.
I was in your shoes many years ago, so I understand what you’re going through. I tried very hard to learn to play guitar―just like you.
I began to learn guitar on my own. I tried to learn everything I could…how to tune the guitar, how to play all the basic chords, how to change my guitar strings…I did this wrong and ended up with the winding going the wrong way. Another guitarist saw my strings and asked me who changed them last. When I told him I had, he called me a moron and showed me the correct way to do it… At first, I also got a lot of dead string noise with my chord playing and really sore fingers. Learning to play guitar was quite a struggle in the beginning.
But I didn’t give up. I knew I wanted to play guitar for the rest of my life! Eventually, I got some guitar lessons from a very talented teacher that studied at Berkeley College of Music in Boston. I also saved every penny I could to attend the Musicians Institute, a guitar school in Atlanta, Georgia. I studied all styles of music written for the guitar and guitar theory…an intense learning experience…and money well spent.
And guess what? I got pretty good at playing guitar. I started to work in bands and make money playing my ax:) I even toured with one band for two years after I won its talent search for a guitar player and singer. Proof of Certificate Click Here Guitar Playing
To cut short my long story, I’ve slowed way down with live performances…I still do some gigs here and there, but mainly I teach guitar. I learned a lot of stuff the hard way when I started out, and that experience made me a better player. I know it takes time to learn guitar and you need proper guidance to play well and play right.

I just wish I could get my timing better..but it will come I suppose. Oh..I installed firefox for my browser and then the vids worked…I was using IE explorer..never had any problems with it b4..but oh well it works now..:)
I tried the traditional lessons and some other junk I bought but nothing worked. Yours makes good sense…I hope you have some more songs and stuff soon..I’ll buy em when you do..let me know.
Hi teacher forgive me for not replying to your mails but ive got some good news for you thanx to you im now able to switch between quite a number of chords without any problem at all.
There is also a picking pattern i learnt that i am comfortable with i dont even look whilst picking i wanted to ask what do the dots on the fretboard stand for those on the 3rd,5th,7th,12th,15th etc? am really excited thanks again yours jammin Trymore Masaraure in Zimbabwe Africa
